Tchaikovsky's work 'The Sleeping Beauty', in particular the famous waltz, is one of the master's most popular compositions. In the present lively concert version of the ballet, a narrator is assigned to the arrangement for brass ensemble (4 trumpets, 2 horns, trombone and tuba). The spoken text is based on the charming fairy-tale by the Grimm brothers and is available both in German and in English (W. Hutton).
